Top Left: 1980 First Band, "Spirit" with friends Dennis Kaufman and Dave Preheim and myself. We were Rush heads so we did a lot of that, Led Zeppelin, Early Foreigner, the Police etc. We had a few different versions of this band during our college years.
Bottom Left 1982, the week I graduated high school. My uncle from California, who plays keyboard, and I just jamming.
Top Right: 1982 My friend Steve's band "Sphynx" playing my High School Prom. From left to right: Kim Hofer on Keys, Marlin Saner on lead guitar, Steve Sorensen on drums, Greg Kleinsasser on Vocals, who we later played in another band together, Myself on guitar, Bill on Bass. Marlin taught me a lot on guitar. Wish I could have played with Steve more, he's a good friend who I also played in Jazz band with in HS.

Bottom Left: "The Pulse" I started this band in late 1984 by auditioning a lot of players in Sioux Falls, from drummers, bass players, keyboard players and then called my friend Dennis who was down in Vermillion, which led to our drummer Chad, then Sharon our Keyboard player and then Greg our singer.
